The International Wheelset Congress（IWC）was established in 1963 and is the leading conference and exhibition for the world railway industry. The IWC is held every 3 years and it has already been hosted by many countries, including the United States of America, Canada, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, Japan and Australia, since its creation, in Italy. The IWC is the platform gathering railway operators, equipment manufacturersand engineers from all over the world.
In 2016, Chengdu Lead Science &Technology Co., Ltd. and Southwest Jiaotong University will organize the 18thInternational Wheelset Congress (IWC) in Chengdu.
