SJ Wayside Inspection System for Pantograph and Train Roof Condition is installed on entrance line where high-speed trains and locomotives will pass by. Based on image analysis and modern sensor inspection technology, key parameters including wear of pantograph slider,centerline deviation of pantograph, contact pressure between catenary and pantograph are automatically and precisely inspected in dynamic condition, and main facilities on the roof are monitored with high resolution. Under inspection by SJ system, safety of locomotive roof is ensured for daily service.
It has been certificated by Ministry of Railway of P. R. China in 2004 and has been widely applied for electric locomotives and high-speed trains.
